Angelina Jolie is blasting filmmakers at Disney for not featuring an African princess in their films. She says that the lack of diversity in their films really upsets her and Brad.
She tells Britain's OK! magazine, "(So) even the color of the children in the cartoon matters.
"There still isn't a Disney princess that's African and it's very difficult because our daughters' getting into princesses right now and it upsets me."
Hey, she has a great point! I'm sure if she offered to be the voice behind the princess, Disney would jump at the chance, right??

well she cant say they're not diverse.... yes they're lacking one race but i mean they've got the middle eastern, chinese, native indian etc. etc.
1but it would be nice to see an african one nxt
I agree Sun, they have had some great female role models for little girls from diverse back grounds. I have my own issues with Disney, and they are alot bigger then Zahara needs and African Princess.
Whatever Angie.

2"I'm pretty sure she's baked on a professional level."
Open mouth, insert foot.
Princess Maddy, the first black Disney princess, made national news earlier in the year. She will be the star of next year's Disney animated flick, "The Frog Princess."
It was only a CNN headline, Ang.
3Frog PRINCE, I meant.
All this talk of princesses got my fingers all tangled.
4If Angelina said this at all I am sure its being blown out of proportion tabloid style. I am sure Angelina didn't blast Disney, but maybe she expressed concern.
